How to keep a playlist
Playlists we build live in our Spotify account, not yours. If you like one, put it in your own Spotify. Then it is there for the next game night.
The quick way — save it
Takes about five seconds
- Open the playlist in Spotify.Press the “Open in Spotify” button on your playlist page.
- Press the save button. On a phone it is the + or the heart near the playlist name. On a computer it is + Add to Your Library, or the … menu, then Add to Your Library.
- That is it.Find it later under Your Library, then Playlists.
A saved playlist stays in your library. We cannot take it back out.
The safest way — make your own copy
Do this if you want to change the songs
A copy belongs to you completely. You can add songs, drop the ones you do not like, and rename it. Nothing we do can touch it.
- Open the playlist in Spotify on a computer. This one is easier on a desktop than on a phone.
- Select every song.Click the first song, then hold Shift and click the last song.
- Right-click the selection.Choose Add to playlist, then New playlist.
- Give it a name.Done — it is yours to edit however you like.
Good to know
- You need a Spotify account to save anything. A free account can save playlists.
- Some songs are not available in every country. Spotify greys those out.
- We tidy up. Playlists that nobody has opened for a while get taken out of our account, so it does not fill up. If someone has saved a playlist, we leave it alone. Saving is what keeps a playlist safe.
- Sharing the link is fine. Anyone with the link can listen, no account needed to look.
